Mary Ellen BULLOCK,   5th child of Nebraska Turpin and Margaret BULLOCK, nee DUNKIN was born 19 August 1908 in Liberty Township near Selma, Delaware County, Indiana, married Joseph Syndusky MURPHY 25 January 1930 by a Methodist Minister in Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana.   Joseph, son of Abram Courtney and Violet Stella MURPHY, nee EATON, was born 11 January 1896 in Marion County near Wanamaker, Indiana.

Mary:
Member Selma Methodist Church. Graduate Selma H.S. 1926. Member Parker Chapter #329 O.E.S. Former bookkeeper for Chevrolet Sales, Parker, Indiana and Ford Motor Sales, Parker. Insurance Clerk at Ball Memorial Hospital since 1955.
Joseph:
Member Wanamaker Christian Church. Attended New Bethel School, Indianapolis, Indiana. Member Parker Masonic Lodge #630 F.& A.M. Served U.S. Army Quartermaster Corp 1917-1919. Eighteen months in Brest, France. Formerly employed as radiator mechanic at Lockport, N.Y. and Saint Paul, Minnesota. Owner and operator of Radiator Shop at Selma 1938-1961. Retired Mechanic.


Joseph died 17 January 1965 and is buried in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana.

Mary Ellen married Paul Clinton CROMER 15 February 1968 at the Methodist Minister Church, Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana.   Paul, son of Oren and Sadie CROMER, nee MOORE, was born 30 October 1907 near Cross Roads, Salem Township, Delaware County, Indiana.

Paul died 29 June 1984 and is buried in Miller's Cemetery, Middletown, Henry County, Indiana.
