Joseph Courtney MURPHY,   2nd child of Joseph Syndusky and Mary Ellen MURPHY, nee BULLOCK was born 28 December 1934 in Delaware County, Indiana, married Helen Marie MORRIS 26 January 1957 at First Presbyterian Church, Walkerton St. Joseph County, Indiana.   Helen, daughter of Merlin Paul and Elsie Beulah MORRIS, nee LIDEKER, was born 5 November 1935 in Holy family Hospital, LaPorte, LaPorte County, Indiana.

Joseph:
Graduate Selma H.S. 1952. Recipient State and Alumni Scholarships. E.E. Purdue Auniversity 1956. Member Parker Masonic Lodge #630 F.& A.M. U.S.A.F. 3 years. Rank 1st Lt. Formerly employed Chevrolet Muncie, Indiana. Presently Electrical Engineer in Machine Designing at Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing, Saint Paul, Minnesota. Helen:
Member Walkerton Presbyterian Church. Graduate Warlkerton H.S. 1953. B.A. Purdue University 1957; holds teachers license in nursery and kindergarten.

Joseph Morris MURPHY, born 28 October 1961 in St. Johns Hospital, Saint Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, married Karen Lynn Koch SIELEAFF 12 June 1983 at his parents farm near Caledonia, Huoston County, Minnesota.   Karen, daughter of Fred and Vivian June SIELEAFF, nee KRAUSE was born 22 June 1927 in new Braunfels, Comal County, Texas.

    Her children:

    1. Kendra Skye Koch, born 29 February 1976.
    2. Kassidy Rain Koch, born 27 March 1978.

Mark Courtney MURPHY, born 2 September 1964 at Saint Johns Hospital, Saint Paul, Ramsay County, Minnesota, married Kuuipo Tania SCHULTZ 13 March 1987 at Justice of Peace Court, Mountain Home, Elmore County.   Tania, daughter of Jackie Lee and Kuuipo W. SCHULTZ, nee, HANAMAIKAI, was born 24 october 1963 at Deaconess Hospital, Great Falls, Cascade County, Montana.

    Their Children:

    1. Shawn Matthew MURPHY, born 24 November 1982 in Campbell County Memorial Hospital, Gillette, Campbell County, Wyoming.
      adopted 23 April 1990, in Butte, Montana.   born Shawn Matthew Oase.

    2. Malia Danae MURPHY, born 25 March 1984 in Saint Peter's Hospital, Helena, Lewis and Clark County, Montana.
      adopted 23 April 1990, in Butte, Montana.   born Malia Danae Oase.

    3. Samuel Joseph MURPHY, born 16 July 1990 at the 379th Strategic Hospital, Wurtsmith Air Force Base, Iosoco County, Michigan.

    4. Spencer Paul MURPHY, born 31 August 1993 at the 366th Medical Group, Mountain Home Air Force Base, Elmore County, Idaho.

    5. Mark Sawyer MURPHY, born 23 November 1999 at Camp Lester Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan.

    6. Jack Dunkin MURPHY, born 22 August 2002 in Baptist East Medical Center, Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama.
