Marjory MARKLE, 2nd child of Ralph Leighton and Marion MARKLE nee BULLOCK, born 14 July 1917 in Akron, Summit County, Ohio, married Robert Carl AUSTIN 23 August 1943 at Church Of Our Savior, Akron, Summit County, Ohio.   Robert, son of Carl Elwood and Mildred AUSTIN, nee McDONALD, was born 5 March 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Marjory:
      Member Fairlawn Community Church. Graduate Springfield Twp. H.S. 1935; A.A. Secretarial Science, Akron University 1940. Member Phi Mu Social Sorority; Women's City Club; Fairlawn Country Club. Former secretary six years at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.
Robert:
      Member Fairlawn Community Church. Graduate Springfield Twp. H. S. 1935; B. S. Electrical Engineering Akron University 1941. Graduate work Case Technical School at Cleveland. Member Fairlawn Country Club; Society of Automotive Engineers Cleveland Section; Lambda Chi Alpha Social Fraternity. Manager and co-owner of Austin Ignition Company, Akron, Ohio.


Marge Austin and family Marjory was divorced 19 August 1969.

Robert died 2 May 1991 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Akron, Summit County, Ohio.

  1. Ann Louise AUSTIN, born 5 July 1945 at Akron General Hospital, Akron, Summit County, Ohio, married Bruce Victor Andersen 26 August 1965 at Fairlawn Community Church, Akron, Ohio.   Bruce, son of Victor H. and Catherine ANDERSEN, nee SHUMAN, was born 22 March 1942 in Rochester, New York.

    Ann:
          Member St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Graduate John R. Buchtel H. S. 1963. Student at Muskingum College (John Glenn's College), New Concord, Ohio. Former meliber Y-teens and Volunteer at Alkron General Hospital. Attended quanset Sailing Camp, South Orleans, Mass. 1962 and 1963. Counsellor 1963, teaching sailing.



    Their Children:

    1. Jennifer Lee ANDERSEN, born 8 September 1967 at Saint Lukes Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, married Brian Thomas BAIRD 29 September 1990 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan.   Brian, son of Walter and Marilyn BAIRD, was born 22 August 1967 at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan.

      Their children:

      1. Kerrigan Anderson BAIRD.

      2. Darby Anne BAIRD.

    2. Jody Lynn ANDERSEN, born 13 December 1969 at McLaren General Hospital, Flint, Genessee County, Michigan, married Kenneth Sterling BACHMAN, 13 June 1992 at Michigan State University Alumni Memorial Chapel, East Lasnsing, Ingham County, Michigan.   Kenneth, son of Karl Walter and Toni Marie BACHMAN, nee NEBLETT, was born 4 October 1968 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, Ingman County, Michigan.

      Jody and Kenneth are divorced.

    Ann was divorced 12 March 1979 in Genessee County, Michigan.

    Ann married Howard J. COOPER __ March 1999 at Disney World in Orlando, FL.

  1. Stuart Kendall AUSTIN, born 25 November 1952, at Akron General Hospital, Akron, Ohio.

    Stuart:
          Member Fairlawn Community Church. Baptized at home November 1953 by his Great ,Aunt, Rev. Fannie E. Austin, who is one of the first women Universalist Ministers in the country. She flew from Florida at age 89 for this occasion as he is the only male descendant of their entire family. A student at Fairlawn Elementary School.


  2. Laura Lee AUSTIN, born 12 June 1957, at Akron General Hospital, Akron, Ohio.

    Laura:
          Member Fairlawn Community Church. A student at Fairlawn Elementary School.
