Linda
Grace BULLOCK,   3rd child of John Wesley and Leona Pearl BULLOCK, nee FUNKHOUSER, was born 2 June 1923 in Delaware County, Indiana, married Ashton H. VENIS 28 April 1943 at Pasadena Presbyterian Vestry, Pasadena, California.   Ashton, son of Raymond George and Dora VENIS nee DRUKAMILLER, was born 25 may 1921 in Marion, Indiana.

Grace:
      Member Presbyterian Church. Graduate Yorktown H. S. 1941. Moved to Papadena, California in 1943 to marry Ashton H. Venis. Remained there during his tour of overseas duty. Established residency there upon his return. Former Bank Teller and Bookkeeper.
Ashton:
      Member Presbyterian Church. Graduate Muncie Central H.S. 1939; attended Purdue University 1939-1941 - Mechanical Engineering Course. Served U.S. Army Ordinance 1942-1945. Two years overseas; last year in Okinowa. Rank Tech.Sgt. Owner MacAulay & Venis Insurance in Pasadena, California. Started in partnership Nov. 10, 1948 with M. D. MacAulay and has assumed full ownership since his death in 1952.

Grace was divorced May 1974 in Los Angeles, California.

Grace married W. Earl MILLER 31 August 1974 at Royal Palm Chapel, Carlsbad, San Diego County, California.   Earl, son of William Earl and Frances MILLER, nee KOSTER, was born 21 August 1923 in Springlake, New Jersey.

No children:

Ashton died __ May 1989 of cancer and was buried at sea.

Their child:

  1. Linda Diane VENIS, daughter of Ashton H. and Grace Bullock Venis, was born 15 November 1948 in Huntington Memorial hospital, Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California. Linda married Gary Berg 9 March 1991 at home in Encino, California.   Gary, son of Arthur Hillman and Leona Elsie BERG, nee FLOHR, was born 20 September 1955 in Long Beach, Los Angles County, California. Linda retained her maiden name.

    Venis:
          Member San Gabriel First Methodist Church and M.Y.F. A student at San Gabriel H.S. Member International Order of Job's Daught.


    Their child:

    1. Baby born in October 1992.

    Note: Gary's son: Alex Arthur BERG, born 13 September 1985.
