Space prevents enumeration of all the jobs done by Mrs. St. John. From
behind her desk in the outer office she takes in the money from the varied school
money raising projects and issues receipts. In addition she is school nurse and
dispenses aspirins, mercurochrome, and various other first aids, or decides with
her thermometer whether a sick student needs to be sent home. She also answers
questions about every subject that comes up pertaining to school. In her spare
(?)time she will obligingly run off a test for a teacher on the duplicating machine.
In all, she is a very important person in keeping our school running smoothly.

Mrs. Mary Ann Conn is Mr. Glentzer's secretary and performs the many
duties required of her in that office. When anyone-parent or teacher--needs
to call Fairfield School, it is Mary Ann's pleasant voice that is heard
answering the telephone.
In this picture you see her wearing her usual cheery smile, and surrounded
by the machines and files that occupy her day
