Union Journal with artical LOCKOUT IN CLEVELAND:
    On March 1 1917 the Guide Motor Lamp Company locked out twenty members of Local 3 when the members demanded the shorter workday and a slight increase in wages.  The strike is still on

CLEVELAND OHIO:
    It has been some time since Local 3 contributed any kind of an article to our Journal, so I thought perhaps a words would not go astray at the present time for our brothers at home the rest of the organization, too.
     Last spring we made a drive for minimum wage of 50 cents per and were very successful winning shops with the exception of the Motor Lamp Company and the Premier Company which we are fighting.
