Rev. William Triplett officiated at the wedding of Mr. Earl Vice and Mess Elaine Razor, both of Bath County, at his residence on Johnson Avenue, Mr Sterling, last Saturday afternoon. The impressive ring ceremony was used. Those witnessing the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Manley of Bath | County, and Mrs. Roy Ketchum, of Mt. Sterling. The Groom, a poplar young farmer and excellent gentleman, in the son of Mr. and Mrs Sid Vice. The lovely and attractive bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Razor. The young couple are receiving congratulations of friends. The will reside near Sharpsburg. |

Dies At Bald Eagle | |
Mrs Leora Catherine Razor, 77 years old, wife of Alonzo M. Razor, died at
her home on the Sharpsburg road at 4:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, October 7, after a lingering
illness. Her death had been expected for more than a week. A daughter of the late Silas and Artemissa Arrasmith Corbin, she was a native of the county, born April 19, 1868. She was the last surviving child of the late Mr. And Mrs. Corbin and came of one of the county's more prominent and well-to-do families. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons by a |
former marriage,
Tom and Herbert Manley, both of this county, and a number of more distant relatives. Funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday afternoon, October 9, at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Burl Wagoner. Interment was in Longview Cemetery, Bethel. Pall bearers were: active, Omer Razor, George Wells, Troya Ketchum, Russell Corbin, Adrian Razor, C. W. MeVey, Zack Corbin, Brumley Sorrell, Boone Razor, Sherman Corbin, John Razor and George Manley. |
