Mable E. Razor White, 82, of Albuquerque, N.M., died Sunday, April 3, in Presbyterian Downtown Hospital there. A native of Mississippi, Mrs. White was a former resident of New Castle and had lived in Albuquerque since 1951. She graduated from Morehead Teacher's College in Morehead, Ky., and received a master's degree in education from New Mexico University in Albuquerque, N.M. She taught for various elementary schools in Indiana and Kentucky, including the Honey Creek School System. She was a member of the Montgomery Place Church of God in New Mexico and a former member of Ruth Shrine 17 of the	Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem in New Castle. Born Feb. 7, 1912, she was a daughter of Arthur Jesse Sr. and Eula Ruth McClain Razor. Survivors include a sister, Lucy McMillen, with whom she resided; a brother, Arthur Jesse Razor Jr. of New Castle; several nieces and nephews, including Arthur Lee McCorkle of New Castle; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ursula McCorkle, and a brother, Earl Vinson Razor. Services were conducted in Albuquerque on Thursday, April 7. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery in Albuquerque.

Razor was employed as an Indiana high teacher and librarian until retiring in 1972. His wife was employed at New Castle Community Schools as a junior high Home Economics teacher until retiring in 1986. They are the parents of Edna Ruth Spruill of Chattanooga, Tenn., Arthur Nathaniel Razor of Coral Springs, Fla.., Comer Vincent Razor of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Catherine Pauline Modjeski of Western Springs, Ill.
