Notes from Barbara & Willard Lennie Snow George.
Lennie and Leonard were twins according to family tradition, but
vital records of Lewis Co. Ky indicate the twin was a female
named Lenna. "A" added to name as an adult. It does not stand for
anything. Married at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City,
Utah. He was a musician (drummer boy) in the 4th Missouri Infantry
because he didn't meet the height requirements to be in regular
serevice in the Spanish American War. He died of cancer of the lip
and throat associated with his lifelong habit of smoking a pipe and
cigars. "A" Lennie was a hat buyer at J. Arthur Frank Clothing store
for men in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.
