Erma "Irene" Armb, 68,
of 1515 Whittier Lane, New Castle, died Tuesday in
Woodland Nursing Home of Muncie following a lengthy
illness. A New Castle resident most of her life, Mrs. Armb was a homemaker and a member of Whittier Lane Baptist Church, where she had formerly taught Sunday school. She was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Farmers, Ky., a daughter of the late Thomas and Ada Cory Razor. Survivors include her husband, Russell Willard Armb, whom she married Oct. 25, 1952; a sister, |
Gladys Baldwin of Muncie; a brother, Willie Reynolds
of Arcadia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bud Razor; and her stepfather, Otis Reynolds. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Whittier Lane Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Macer-Hall Funeral Home.
