  Beulah 'Bookie' Razor Voehl,
73, of 274 S. 14 th St., New Castle, died Monday in
Heritage House Nursing Center after a brief illness.
Mrs. Voehl was born April 14, 1918 in Salt Lick, Ky., a daughter of George and Oda Razor, and had lived in New Castle for several years. She had worked as a lab technician at Brooks Foods in Mount Summit for 15 years and at Merico Foods in Indianapolis for three years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the South Memorial Drive Church of God. Surviving are three daughters, Pat (Mrs. Clarence) Rates of Necedah, Wis., Sally Gallenburg of Shawano, Wis., and Diana (Mrs. Boyce) Storie of New Castle; a son, |
Allan Dale Messer of
Anderson; a brother, Nelson Razor of New Castle;
four sisters, Rosemary Poe and Betty Littrell, both
of New Castle, Thelma Flowers of Anderson, and Nona
Lester of Mount Summit; five grandchildren; a
great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Mervin Lee
and, Harland Messer, and by a daughter, Kathleen
Messer. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in South Memorial Drive Church of God, with the Rev. Robert Cole officiating. Burial win be in Mount Summit Cemetery. Calling will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Macer-Hall Funeral Home.

  Diana M. Storie, 46, of
1603 Estes Drive died Thursday in Henry County
Memorial Hospital following a lengthy
illness.   A 1967 graduate of Blue River Valley High School, Mrs. Stories was raised in Mount Summit. She owned and operated "Special Moments Bridal" in New Castle and was a member of the South Memorial Drive Church of God. She was born Sept. 10, 1949, in White Lake, Wis., a daughter of the late Mervin Cleo and Beulah Razor Messer.   Surviving are her husband, Boyce; a daughter, Kelli Storie of New Castle; two sisters, Patricia Rates of Necida, Wis., and Sally Gallenburg of New Castle; |
a brother, Dale Messer of Anderson;
and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts
and uncles. She was preceded in death by a
sister Kathleen Messer and two brothers,
Mervin Messer and Harlan Messer.   Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at South Memorial Drive Church of God with the Revs. Bob Cole and Mark Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Summit Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 p.m., and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Henry County Cancer Society.
