Mervil, son of Willie Samuel and Cordelia Maye LEWIS, nee PEYTON, was born 19 November 1913 on Yocum Creek, Morgan County, Kentucky.

Hazel died 9 January 1984 at Morehead, Rowan County, Kentucky and is buried in Lewis Family Cemetery, near Aragon, Morgan County, Kentucky.

    WEST LIBERTY - Marjorie Delene Lewis, 65, of Okeechobee, Fla., formerly of Morgan County, died Wednesday, Jan. 31 at the Martin Memorial Hospital North in Stuart, Fla.
    She was born June 1, 1935 in Morgan County to the late Clarence Lewis and Jessie Tina Hunt Lewis.
    She was a housewife.
    Survivors include two sons, and daughters-in-law, Mike and Patricia Lewis,of West 'Liberty, and Greg and Jenny Lewis, also of West Liberty; two sisters, Jean Phillips of Washington Court House, Ohio and Anna Vernon Haney and husband Ray, of River Rouge, Mich.; one brother Dale and Pat Lewis of     		Richmond; one grandson, John David Lewis; and two granddaughters, Stacey Nichole Lewis and Nancy Lynn Lewis.
    She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Lynn Lewis, three brothers and one sister.
    Funeral services were set for Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Herald and Stewart and Halsey Chapel in West Liberty, with the Rev. Eugene Haney, Toney Phillip, and the Rev. James Allen officiating. Burial at Lewis Cemetery in West Liberty.
    Pallbearers: Eugene Haney, Harold Lewis, Gerald Blevins, Bernall Lewis, Ivel Lewis, Doug McKinney, Larry Phillips, and Tony Phillips.

      Roger died 2 May 1990 in Missouri and is buried in the Lewis Family Cemetery, near Paragon, Morgan County, Kentucky.
