Harry Dale HAMILTON,   4th child of Arch Augustine and Laura Margaret HAMILTON, nee BULLOCK was born 15 December 1904 in Delaware County, Indiana, married Dorothy Isabel DRUMM 30 September 1925 at _____, _____ City, Delaware County, Indiana.   Dorothy, daughter of Gary Clauis and Mary DRUMM, nee BARTLY, was born 25 September 1906 in Delaware County, Indiana.

Harry:
Member New Barrington Methodist Church. Graduate Center H.S. 1923 and attended Indiana University one year. P.M. Whitney Masonic Lodge #229 F.& A.M.; P.P. and Charter Member Whitney Chapter #564 O.E.S. Engaged in dairy and grain farming.
Dorothy:
Member New Barrington Methodist Church. Former M.Y.F. Leader. Graduate Muncie Central H.S. 1924 and attended Ball State University two years; correspondence corses from Indiana University for college credit; courses for audit at Ball State University; and professional writing courses. P.M. and Charter Member Whitney Chapter #564 O.E.S. Author of published articles. Recently added to Ball State University list of recommended tutors of History.


Dorothy died 13 September 1983 and is buried in Tomilson Cemetery, Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana.

Harry Hamilton Death Notice       MUNCIE - Harry Dale Hamilton, 94, died Monday.
      Mr. Hamilton, who was bom In Center Township, was a graduate of Center School and had attended Indiana University. He was a retired farmer and drove a milk route for Riggins Dairy for 19 years and a school bus for Center School for 12 years. He was a member of New Burlington United Methodist Church and Whitney Lodge 229, F AM, and a charter member of Whitney Chapter 564, Order of Eastern Star, all of New Burlington. Survivors include four daughters, Kathryn Julian, Carolyn Necessary (husband: Bill), Lois Fitzpatrick (husband: Max) and Fran Parkison (husband: John); three sons,
Dale Hamilton (wife; Nona), Stephen Hamilton (wife: Mary Lee) and David Hamilton (wife: Carol); a sister, Althea. Gordon; his caregivers, Gladys and Bill Piercy; 14 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
      His wife, Dorothy Drumm Hamilton, died in 1983. Two sisters, three brothers, a grandchild and a great-grandchild also are deceased.
      Services will be at I p.m. Thursday in Meeks Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
      Calling will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
      Memorials may be made to Whitney Masonic Lodge 229, New Burlington United Methodist Church or any charity.

Harry Dale Hamilton,
father of local residents 
      Harry Dale Hamilton, 94, of Perry Township died Monday.
      A graduate of Center School in 1923, he attended Indiana University. Mr. Hamilton was a farmer in Perry Township for many years until his retirement. He drove a country milk route for Riggins Dairy for 19 years and a school bus for 12 years for Center School. In New Burlington, he was a member of the United Methodist Church, Whitney Masonic Lodge 229, F & AM and a charter member of Whitney Chapter 564, OES. He was born Dec. 15, 1904, in Delaware County, a son of Arch A. and Laura Bullock Hamilton.
      He is survived by four daughters, Kathryn Julian of Muncie, Carolyn (husband: Bill) Necessary of Farmland, Lois (husband: Max) Fitzpatrick of Whiteland and Fran (husband: John) Parkison of Parker City; three sons, Dale (wife: Nona) of Hagerstown, Stephen Arch (wife: Mary
Lee) of Farmland and David C. (wife: Carol) of Mount Summit;14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a sister, Althea Gordon of Muncie; a sister-in-law, Roxie Shockley Hamilton of Muncie; and care-givers, Gladys and Bill Piercy of Muncie.
      He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Dorothy Drumm, who died in 1983; two sisters, Gladys Richards and Lois Davis; three brothers, Charles, Mark and Arch; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
      Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in The Meeks Mortuary Chapel in Muncie. Burial will follow in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at The Meeks Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Whitney Masonic Lodge 229 of Muncie, New Burlington United Methodist Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
